Sage 200 Support Consultant

Pinnacle is recruiting a Sage 200 Support Consultant to join its rapidly expanding support team across the UK and Ireland.

Pinnacle, 8 times winners of the Sage 200 Business Partner of the Year Award including 2022, and a Sage Platinum Reseller is seeking to recruit a Sage 200 Support Consultant to join its growing support team across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities will include

Reporting to the Sage 200 Support Team Leader, and Customer Support Director, the successful candidate will provide support to Sage 200 customers in a wide range of industries ensuring customers experience exceptional service.

  1. Resolving technical issues: This may involve troubleshooting, identifying the root cause of the issue, and providing solutions.
  2. Communicating with customers: Sage 200 support professionals are responsible for communicating with customers via phone, email, or chat to understand their issues and provide guidance and solutions. Good communication skills are essential in this role.
  3. Providing product training: Responsible for providing product training to customers. This may involve conducting webinars or training sessions, or creating instructional videos or guides.
  4. Documenting issues: Must document customer issues and resolutions, including any troubleshooting steps taken, so that they can be easily referenced in the future.
  5. Collaborating with internal teams: Sage support professionals may need to collaborate with other internal teams, such as product development or quality assurance, to resolve customer issues or provide feedback on product enhancements.
  6. Keeping up to date with product changes: Stay informed about changes and updates to Sage 200 software and ISV products, so they can provide accurate information to customers.
  7. Providing exceptional customer service: Strive to provide exceptional customer service, which may involve going above and beyond to resolve issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Applicants should ideally have a number of years of Sage 200 support experience.
  • You should be proficient in SQL and have proven IT Support / Administration experience
  • Experience with Sage ISVs such as Draycir or Sicon would be advantageous.
  • You should have excellent communication skills to deal with customers at all levels, as well as with your peers across various departments.
  • The candidate will also be a good problem-solver, self-motivated and organised.
  • Actively promote Pinnacle services and software solutions, including providing training sessions as required

Salary will be negotiable depending on track record and experience. The position is a permanent contract.
