Senior PHP Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, high-quality software solutions that align with customer requirements and business goals. Your expertise in coding, database management, and system development will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering outstanding results. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions that align with project requirements and quality standards

• Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable web applications

• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines

• Lead multiple projects, occasionally stepping into a technical lead role as needed

• Manage project timelines, documentation, and technical specifications

• Design and maintain robust database schemas, ensuring optimal performance

• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality

• Mentor other developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to support team growth

Requirements

• Extensive experience in PHP software development with Laravel, and ideally, familiarity with Livewire

• Demonstrated success in delivering software projects on time and according to specifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proven capacity to work effectively within a team

• Solid experience in API design and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL services

• Background in leading projects, performing code reviews, and contributing to agile workflows

• Proficiency with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind), JavaScript, and responsive front-end development
