Today we are speaking to Nik Bell, he has been working for Pinnacle since May 2015 supporting our Sage 200 customers on a daily basis.
- Tell us about your background?
I have worked within the Sage environment since leaving uni. I worked at Sage UK for 4 years supporting Sage 50 along with ACT! and then moved into supporting Sage 200 in 2011.
- In a nutshell, what do you do?
I provide support and assistance to Pinnacle's Sage 200 customers, from guidance and advice to solving complex technical issues via telephone and remote support. I also write reports, provide layout design and data extraction for reporting purposes.
- What are the best bits of the job?
Growing a great working relationship with customers and making things that little bit easier for them by giving advice on procedural aspects of the software. - What do you like about Sage 200?
Its flexibility to suit all businesses! Very little is “set in stone” which makes it adaptable and a good solution for all. - What do you like about working for Pinnacle?
Being trusted to do my job without being micromanaged. - What do you like to do to unwind outside of work?
Walk the dog (to the pub), spend time with friends and family, cook (yes, I'm a feeder). I also like travelling to some weird and far flung exotic destinations.
