Sage Channel Gathers in London for FY20 Partner Kick Off

Sage colleagues and business partners gathered at the Novotel London, for a 2 day conference and awards dinner on the 22nd and 23rd Oct, where Sage mapped its future by combining its Sales and Business Partner Kick-offs into a single, unforgettable, learning and networking opportunity.
In his keynote Sage UKI Managing Director, Sabby Gill, spoke of his vision for business partners becoming great SaaS companies and how this strategy will encourage success in the new fiscal year and beyond. Guest speaker Phil Carer, Chief Analysist at IDC, provided further insight into transitioning into a SaaS business.
Sage also took the opportunity to reflect on success stories of FY19 which highlighted the prosperous journey our customers have embarked upon using Sage software, which enables them to facilitate growth and expansion within their business.
Sage Foundation took centre stage to acknowledge and reward business partners and colleagues for their contribution to charities in 2019, including the Sage Life Cycle London to Paris which Pinnacle’s MD James Spencer and Chairman Ken Montgomery took part in and sponsored. The vision and mission of the Sage Foundation is to raise an astounding $2 million by 2022 to build social, economic and entrepreneurial opportunities within local communities. Our team is looking for the next challenge to help support this target!

A gala awards dinner was hosted to recognise success throughout the channel. Pinnacle was delighted to scoop the coveted “Sage 200 Partner of the Year” award for 2019, retaining the title for the 6th consecutive year!
