Team Pinnacle join Sage Foundation's Life Cycle London to Paris 2019
July 23, 2019 | News
Pinnacle's Managing Director James Spencer and Chairman Ken Montgomery are joining forces with our European colleagues and partners at Sage to cycle the 310 miles between London and Paris from the 25th July.
The “Sage Life Cycle” initiative comes from Sage Foundation who have set a £2m fundraising challenge!
James and Ken will be cycling to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, who offer specialist palliative care to children across Northern Ireland. A charity at which Ken is Ambassador.
Both James and Ken have a joint target of £2,000 and will be fundraising from their individual pages.
Here's how James training journey has been going!
"Training for the Sage Life Cycle, London to Paris, has been going great despite the UK weather. Although a week cycling in the sunshine of Cyprus certainly helped!
I have been also maintaining my fitness with running and participated in the world’s biggest 10k, “AJC Peachtree Road Race”, in Atlanta USA on Independence Day.
What I am really looking forward to in this experience are the closed roads of France and especially riding with the peloton into Paris in the weekend of the finish of the Tour de France, the world’s biggest bike race.
The real reason why Ken and I will be cycling is to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice, who offer specialist palliative care to children across Northern Ireland. A charity at which Ken is the Ambassador.
Help me reach my target of £1,000 by donating here ".
