Prior to the £15.9 million investment in the renowned Kingspan Stadium in Belfast, Ulster Rugby recognised the need for a bigger and more functional business management software than was offered by the current Sage 50 solution.

“We knew that the expansion would bring increased pressure and a greater demand for management reporting,’’ explains Joanne Hunter, Accountant of Ulster Rugby.

Ulster Rugby chose award winning, local Sage Business Partner Pinnacle due to their experience working within the sport and leisure sector, in particular with The Irish Football Association (IFA).

By choosing to move from Sage 50 to Sage 200 with Pinnacle, Ulster Rugby has gained improved visibility and reporting across the business. ‘’Reporting through Sage 200 is easier and saves time – I believe we have cut in half the time it takes to generate reports and distribute them down to the different departments.’’

Siobhan Marley, Business Development Director of Pinnacle, comments, “One of the core strengths of Sage 200 is its ability to provide analytics to help businesses make quick and informed business decisions via the Business Intelligence tool and excel reporting features. We are delighted to provide Ulster Rugby with a Sage solution which we believe will sustain their business processes as they continue to pursue their growth strategies”.
