St Andrew’s First Aid was founded in 1882 and many of its first groups of volunteers were established in Scotland’s shipyards, mines and on the railways. It remains the country’s only dedicated first aid charity.

The organisation provides first aid services to public events such as football matches and concerts, while it sells training services and first aid consumables and equipment through its social enterprise arm.
