An example of a business that has gone this route is rapidly expanding Mexican food chain Tortilla. Founded in 2007, Tortilla has a network of 27 restaurants around the UK, as well as eight office locations. Over the next two years, Tortilla plans to open a further 20 restaurants, taking the company’s restaurant footprint to almost 50 locations.

Against this backdrop of fast growth, my colleagues and I have helped the Tortilla team to implement Sage 200. This flagship enterprise resource planning solution is now improving improved visibility and efficiency across the entire Tortilla chain. It has equipped the company with a business management system that keeps pace with rising volumes of transactions and communicates a clear picture of the picture of the business at any given moment.
