Sage 200 becomes Scientifica’s catalyst for expansion, with Pinnacle’s support

Award-winning British neuroscience technology firm Scientifica Ltd is managing its rapid expansion with a Sage 200 business management and ERP solution developed by Sage Business Partner Pinnacle.
British success story Scientifica Ltd manufactures high-quality instruments used in universities, pharmaceutical companies and research laboratories in over forty countries worldwide. The company chose Pinnacle as its Sage Business Partner to drive a major software upgrade and provide expert technical support.
Sage 200 is critical to the business, as Leah Hunt, Network & Infrastructure Lead at Scientifica, explains: “It’s the be all and end all – the hub of our business. Every single business function from finance to R&D to manufacturing touches it in some way. Moving to a new version of the software created the perfect opportunity to analyse what we need from the system today and tomorrow.”
Finding the right Sage partner to implement the upgrade was an important first step. Leah comments: “From the off-set, the Pinnacle team demonstrated their extensive knowledge of the software. It was obvious they knew Sage 200 inside out.”

A year on from the migration, Leah has been impressed by the speed of response from Pinnacle in providing day-to-day technical support: “Pinnacle delivers much better support than anything I’d ever experienced. While we have a guaranteed half-an-hour response time, in reality, it has always been more like ten minutes. They’re poised to help.”
The Scientifica business goes from strength to strength. Having opened an office in the United States, its first outside of the UK, the company is now considering entering the Chinese market.
